Nottingham Trent named 'Modern University of the Year' in 2018 Times Good University Guide

Nottingham Trent University has been named Modern University of the Year for 2018 in the Times Good University Guide.

The University won due to strong student satisfaction, the quality of teaching, overall student experience and its engagement with employers. The 2018 UK University Rankings also saw Nottingham Trent move into the top 50, in joint 47th place.

It marks the end of a memorable year for the University, who are also nominated for ‘University of the Year’ in the forthcoming Times Higher Education Awards, and also achieved Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework.

The University topped 30 of the 67 subject tables that feature in the 2018 Guide, as well as having the highest average completion rate for any university in the UK, with 98.9% of graduates seeing their course through to the end.
