Woman collapses and carried out of court after being sentenced to death for killing her neighbour during fight in Ajegunle, Lagos

A 36-year-old woman, Stella Gilbert, has been sentenced to death by Ikeja high court on Tuesday, for stabbing her neighbour, Mrs Stella Godwin, during a fight at their residence in Ajegunle, Lagos.

The convict stabbed the deceased on the chest and arm with a knife during a fight.
Murder contravenes Section 221 of the Criminal Law of Lagos 2011 and is punishable with death by hanging.

The fight was reportedly over a bench in the premises of their single room apartments also known as ‘face’me-I-face you’.

The fight was caused by an argument over who should be using the bench belonging to their former neighbour.

Justice Raliatu Adebiyi sentenced Gilbert after dismissing her claim of self defence.
The judge held that the prosecution proved its case beyond reasonable doubt.

“The defendant in this case used a knife on the deceased; by any standard, a knife is a lethal weapon. The evidence of PW2 (Prosecution Witness 2), the cousin of PW1 (the deceased’s husband), and that of PW3, the female police officer, was that the deceased was stabbed on the chest. The coroner’s report tendered in evidence by PW4 confirmed that the deceased was stabbed on the chest.
The chest is where the heart is; the defendant, by stabbing the deceased on the chest, a very fragile part of the body, clearly intended to cause the most harm to her. The death of the deceased occurred as a result of grievous injury caused by the defendant. The defendant is culpable of the offence of murder,” she said.

The judge remarked that a lot of cases in courts were caused by animosity and violence due to individuals living in close proximity in the metropolis. She said that the situation called for improvement in social housing in Lagos State.

“From the evidence, the fight took place in a room; though no evidence was given about the size of the room, it could not have been a very large room. The evidence was that the deceased and the defendant lived in a house consisting of rooms occupied by families popularly called ‘face-me-I-face-you’. It is worrisome that the level of violence, unnecessary animosity and death, which occur among our citizens as a result of living together in close proximity without sufficient personal space and boundaries, remain unabated. There is clearly a need to improve social housing and living conditions. The court hopes that this message will be conveyed to the necessary authorities through prosecutors who have the responsibility to prosecute these cases and should be able to provide vital statistics,” she urged.

Following the conviction of the Gilbert, her counsel, Mr Y. E. Yusuf, prayed the court to temper justice with mercy.

“The defendant has been in detention for six years; during that time, she lost both parents and her brother. She is in her late 30s and unmarried, she has gone through a lot. She was not harbouring the intent to murder when the incident occurred. I want my lord to temper justice with mercy and refrain from giving the defendant the maximum sentence,” Yusuf urged.

However, the judge passed death sentence on Gilbert.

“The defendant, Stella Gilbert, is hereby sentenced to death. May God that grants life have mercy on your soul,” she said.

On hearing the sentence, Gilbert collapsed on the dock. Wailing loudly, she said:

“Please ma, temper justice with mercy, why me oh, only me…”

In her tears, she was led out of the courtroom and had to be carried by a mobile policeman and a prison warden out of the court complex to avoid disruption of proceedings in other courtrooms due to the commotion.

According to the state counsel, Mrs O. R. Ahmed-Muili, the convict murdered Godwin, mother of three, on June 22, 2013, at No. 59, Ojora St., Ajegunle, Lagos.

Recall Tonto Dikeh accused her ex-husband Olakunle Churchill of suffering from pre-mature ejaculation.

HOW NOT TO BE A 40 SECONDS MAN.

Ladies deserves to enjoy the sex too. Look Her Deep Into Her Eyes, While Holding Her Waist.. Give Her A Wet Deep Kiss Then Whisper To Her ears “baby You’re So Beautiful”. Grab Her Ass While Kissing Her And Again Whisper “I Love You Honey”. Go On And Start Romancing Her, Hold Her Boobs, Caress Them Softly,.. I Repeat Softly.

Then Start Sucking Her Np**ples gently Till They Are Erect. You’ll see, She’s Gonna Start Breathing Heavily.. Then Kiss Her Neck, Caress Her From Head To Toe, .. Compliment Her, Tell Her How Much You Love Her Body. Now Go Down And Slowly Remove Her Panties, Allow Her To Lie On Bed As You Spread Her Legs.

Now Start sucking Her vagina, but to some people that’s disgusting, instead of that, use your middle finger and dip it gently in and out of the v*gina.. But If the vagina looks dry, Don’t Even Go There.. Focus On The Clits, suck it or use your finger on the clits gently, do It So Well Until She starts Moaning,

This Point she wants you, you Don’t RUSH!!
Now Pull Out the P*NIS, Then Pass It Around Her Body, Touch Her Neck, Her Boobs, Her Stomach Then Finally Touch Her Thighs with your P*NIS .
Slowly, I repeat Slowly Insert the tip Of Your PENIS Into Her VAGINA, Then Pull It Out And Rub It On Her Clit Which Will Force Her To Bring Out Juices, she’ll be Wet like and soft and her pussy at this stage is very ready to accommodate any kind of dick without any single pain, just the full pleasure.

Now Insert The P*NIS Again, Then Start By having sex Slowly, As You Make Eye Contact With Her, You Can Hold Her Boobs And Kiss Her As Well.. Tell Her How Sweet Her v*gina makes you feel , Tell Her How You Love It..
Now You Can Spread Her Legs, And start having sex with her fast until she scream your name.
Man.. If You have sex with Her Like This, She Will Remember You For The Rest of Her Life..
and she will respect you as a man. Try ds and tnk me later

“Be like Mercy Johnson not Tonto” – Nigerian man writes to ladies over Tonto’s recent outburst

Following the recent social media outburst of Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, over her failed marriage, a Nigerian man has written to ladies as he urges them to be more like actress, Mercy Johnson than Tonto.

Referencing a feud that the duo had few years back, the Nigerian man details how Tonto Dikeh was with Mercy Johnson, at the time not aware of what her future holds.

Read his post,

WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND.
In 2012, when Mercy Johnson had her first child, Purity, a job actually came knocking at her door on return…. As a professional that she is, she chose not to let her manager and fans down, hence she shunned omugwo and went ahead for the shoot. Then came madam critic, TONTO DIKE. Tonto disparaged Mercy’s struggles and talked down on her hustle. She concluded her rant with a boast, that she would rather remain single than be married to a man who is not rich enough to take care of her after childbirth… A man that would allow her go on set while still nursing a newborn…
That was the height of Tonto’s insensitivity to the realities of life… Linda Ikeji helped rebroadcast that unbridled rant from a weed ravaged cosmetic albino of a girl… Little did we know that Tonto was actually speaking under the influence of Churchill’s amu… The same she now call “40 seconds dick.” Fast forward to 2019… Both Tonto Dike and Linda Ikeji have all gone into one or two relationships and come out empty, while Mercy Johnson is still hanging on, and getting better with her husband everyday. Both Tonto Dike and Linda Ikeji did not last up to a quarter of Mercy’s marriage term so far, but have all come out to give long sermons against their baby fathers, whom they now call EX, while Mercy is still hanging on, and enjoying her family with 3 lovely kids.
As the case may be, neither me nor you have heard Mercy say anything awful against her husband or marriage… But her critic and media vendor have all gone, saw, ran out and are crying wolf… Whatever lesson you could make out of this situation… Make it. Don’t be a Tonto… Be a Mercy! Respect people’s struggles and allow them live their lives the way they can afford it… I rest my case.

Don’t Marry Jobless Men — Adeboye to Single Ladies
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye has warned single ladies to avoid marrying jobless men.

Jobless men, he said, have the tendencies to use, dump and abandon such ladies.

Adeboye spoke on Sunday at the May Special Prayer and Thanksgiving service by the RCCG Throne of Grace, National Headquarters Ebute Metta, Lagos.

According to him, a woman should not marry a man that has no work “if not you will be the work.”

He noted it is not sinful for a single lady to politely ask any man proposing marriage whether or not he has a job.

Stating that women are conceived as helpmeets, Adeboye argued only somebody who has a job can be helped.

Adeboye, who spoke through the Assistant General Overseer, (RCCG) Personnel and Administration Pastor Johnson Odesola, said the man is key and the woman has only come to help.

“Whatever the woman does is a help. The man is a major director in the house,” he stressed.

He stated taking care of the homes does not rest on the woman alone but the man and the woman who has come to help.

Adeboye blamed lack of proper home training for most of the ills in society.

“I still remember when I was young. My father will tell me that this name is the name of my father. Don’t spoil the name. So I was scared to do wrong. I could not shake the hand of a lady until I was 23.

“Learning for any child should start from the home and parents should be their child first teachers.

“The wife and the husband are the main teachers who will teach and model godly character to their children,” he stated.

In his sermon, Adeboye, urged all Christians to strengthen their faith, saying there would always be a storm in the lives of the believers.

Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yoruba land, Otunba Gani Adams, who was at the service argued religion, is never the problem of Nigeria.

According to him: “It is sad many people believe religion is Nigeria’s problem, but in truth, leadership, not religion is Nigeria’s problem.

“For instance, I am a Muslim by birth. I grew up from a Christian background and as the Aare Onakakanfo of Yoruba land and culture activist, I also believe in our traditional religion.”
